State police get driver for Evansville DUI

Indiana State Police were able to get a driver for an Evansville DUI Sunday morning during a check point, according to WFIE.
 
The Evansville DUI arrests occurred during an early morning checkpoint in which 54 drivers were stopped.
 
The driver in the Indiana DUI arrest was a 34-year-old man who was lodged in the Vanderburgh County Jail following his arrest.
 
Indiana State Police are attempting to cut down on Evansville DUI-related auto accidents.

Pedestrian hit in Evansville DUI accident

The Courier Press reported that a driver who has two previous DUI convictions has been arrested for a third Evansville DUI accident.

The Evansville DUI accident occurred Saturday around 6 p.m. in the Southeast Side Dollar General Store parking lot.

A pedestrian was injured in the Indiana DUI accident when the 51-year-old driver hit a 65-year-old pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with neck, back, and leg pain.

The Evansville DUI victim was about to cross the parking lot when the driver struck her with his vehicle, throwing the 65-year-old woman almost 6 feet.

Henderson drunk driving accident ends in arrest

A Henderson drunk driving accident ends in the arrest of a woman who fled the scene of an accident, according to 14 WFIE.

The Henderson DUI accident occurred Monday on Highway 41A when the woman turned into the path of another vehicle then fled the scene.

Authorities found the woman shortly after the Kentucky drunk driving accident occurred and she was charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

Two people were treated for minor Henderson drunk driving accident injuries as a result of the crash.
