Safe Night Cab Ride, St. Patrick's Day 2010
Woods and Woods hosted its Safe Night Cab Ride program on St. Patrick's Day and covered the cab fares for adults who had too much to drink or needed a safe way home. The program ran from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. and was provided to patrons of Ri Ra Irish Pub. Click here for more details.

Labor Day Celebration
The members of Woods and Woods sponsored the 2009 Labor Day Celebration in Princeton, Indiana—the oldest Labor Day celebration in the state and possibly the second oldest celebration in the nation.

The four-day event keeps the modern-day celebration linked to the proud past by producing traditional events—such as a grand parade, gospel music, and the Labor Day Battle, a contest between local unions to see which union can outdo the others when it comes to pulling, shoveling, running, and working.

Thanks to the sponsorship assistance from labor unions, local businesses, and civic organizations, the celebration offers many family-oriented activities and entertainment at a reasonable cost. Click here to learn more about the Labor Day Celebration.

Evansville East All-Star Baseball
Woods and Woods sponsored the 2009 Evansville East All-Star Baseball team, which was named the Evansville Invitational Tournament Champion and 2009 State Champion and qualified for the National North Zone Tournament. Click here to learn more.
