Rod Clutter graduated with his undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville in 1975. He then went on to pursue his legal education at the Indiana University School of Law where he received his J.D. from in 1978.
He began his legal career as a deputy prosecutor in Warrick County but went on to join the Air Force as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate in 1980. He served with the Air Force in various capacities until 1986 when he joined the Evansville law firm of Bamberger, Foreman, Oswald & Hahn as an insurance defense litigator. There, Rod handled hundreds of personal injury cases and tried dozens of jury trials.
