Who can file an Agent Orange Claim?
Agent Orange Claims have overwhelmed the VA for years. Any soldier who put “boots on the ground” in Vietnam as well as Blue Water Navy veterans are considered to have been exposed to Agent Orange and may be entitled to a VA claim. Some troops may have also been exposed in Korea near the DMZ. Not sure if you are eligible? Ask our Agent Orange disability benefits attorneys and we can explore your legal options as a veteran.
If you can’t work from your Agent Orange disabilities but don’t have a 100 percent VA disability rating, there may be another option. Individual Unemployability benefits are designated for veterans who can’t work from their service-connected disabilities. Agent Orange VA Individual Unemployability benefits pay more than $3,332.06 a month – the same as a 100% rating.
What if I was in the Agent Orange class action?
Thousands of veterans were part of a class-action lawsuit that tried to hold the makers of Agent Orange responsible for poisoning thousands upon thousands of American troops. Many veterans have been confused as to the difference between the Agent Orange class-action suit and an Agent Orange claim for your impairments.
The class-action lawsuit and your Agent Orange claim with the VA are separate issues. If you are the plaintiff in the lawsuit, you may still be entitled to benefits if you file an Agent Orange Claim for your current impairments related to Agent Orange Exposure.
