I contacted woods and woods sometime between 2010 – 2011. I was rated by the VA for 40% DDD. I had back problems and mental health issues once leaving the army and received treatment for all my ailments since leaving the army. When i discharged from the army i didn’t know about compensation and when I did find out, and finally applied i recieved 10% for DDD. I fought for years to get an upgrade on my back only reaching 40% respectfully. I was experiencing depression homeless, and many other issues when i contacted the firm. Jessica Arnold was put on my case, she contacted me, sent me forms, and after she reviewed my case and i spoke with the doctor, we decided my mental health problems would be my focus. I was skeptical because i didn’t believe it would work out, she thought though with a rating on my depression and with the 40% i had already we could possibly raise my rating to 70-80%, maybe TDIU. We were both wrong, i am now rated 100% total and permanently disabled, and the appeal i had on my back prior to filing for PTSD, looks like it will work out for me also. I don’t know someone else’s experience but i do know my own, i came to woods and woods with my medical records which was over ten years of documentation and they win my case. I write this to thank them, and for any veteran who is intetested in finding a law group to fight for them.
We veterans sometimes get in our own way and don’t have enough documentation sometimes, it doesn’t mean we are not hurting, it j y st means the burden of proof has not been met. Woods and Woods helped me, and i know they can help others. Thank you Woods and Woods.
